They accused their law man of denying them their fair share of the national cake. According to them, Ampabame and its adjourning communities have not had any development project under the Hon. Dr. Kojo Appiah-Kubi and will not listen to him.
“Yes we will not listen to any lies. Tell us what exactly you have done for us since you became MP of the constituency,” they demanded.
The MP in response indicated he had donated 45 bags of cement to the Catholic Church and that his efforts and support to the community are channeled through the Assembly man.
The Assembly could, however, not establish whether the MP has channeled any resources for projects in the community through him.
This claim further angered the charged crowd who vented their anger on their law man and forced the meeting to end in just 30 minutes.
Hon. Appiah Kubi beat a hasty retreat from the community for fear of the crowd becoming physical.
